2001
Cross Stitch Designs
Dick Ron
A true delight for the avid cross stitcher. If you only buy one
book - buy this one! The motifs are simple to follow, the patterns
are well laid out and the detailed colour photography of the samplers
provides added help with stitching. The designs also include suggestions
for variations and themes as well as the combination of motifs.
This is particularly useful as the book was clearly designed for
the American market and as such there are many typically "American"
themes - these designs can easily be adapted if necessary. The images
provided for American Country stitching are particularly good and
the style works well for combining multiple images. For the novice
stitcher there is also an helpful guide on combining motifs and
creating your own designs. The combination of designs is indeed
an inspiration in itself! This book is a good "all-rounder". |
